The Peugeot 205 T16 is an iconic French homologation special that perfectly captures the golden era of Group B rallying. Introduced in 1984, the 205 Turbo 16 was developed by Peugeot Talbot Sport as a purpose-built machine designed to dominate the World Rally Championship. Although it shares its name and basic silhouette with the standard 205, the T16 is an entirely different car beneath the surface.
One of the most striking aspects of the 205 T16 is its aggressive and functional design. Featuring dramatically widened arches, large side air intakes, and a purposeful stance, it clearly reflects its competition-focused DNA. Unlike the regular 205, the T16 uses a mid-mounted 1.8-liter turbocharged engine and an advanced all-wheel-drive system, delivering exceptional traction and explosive performance.
